Year 6 – Maths

Below you can see an overview of what pupils will be learning each week. The exact order of this may change, in response to the needs of the pupils. You can also see the objectives (small steps) that they will be working on and their end of year targets. 

There is also a ‘Home Learning Booklets’ section, which provides resources that you can use to practise at home. 

SATs Companion (Year 6 only)

This online programme is used in Year 6 for homework and boosters. It provides pupils with lots of additional practice at SATs-style questions in Maths, Reading and SPAG.

Use the ‘Practice‘ tab to see suggestions for tasks that are linked to your current areas to focus on. 

Use the ‘Task‘ and ‘Test‘ tabs to see homework tasks that your teacher has set for you. 

Use the ‘Reports‘ tab to see your progress and suggestions for areas you need to focus on. 

Use the ‘Video Lessons‘ tab to complete independent learning on topics you are struggling with.
